FM4100 GPS (Sat Nav) Tracking Module FM4100 is a terminal with GPS (Sat Nav) and GSM (Mobile Phone Network) connectivity, which is able to get device coordinates and transfer them via GSM (Mobile Phone Network) network. This device is perfectly suitable for applications where location acquirement of remote objects is needed. So you can track your remote objects (trucks, cars, ships etc) quickly and easily. The FM4100 has additional inputs and outputs, which let you control and monitor other devices on remote objects. 1-Wire® interface (for Dallas digital thermometer or I-Button reader) and CAN interface integrated (for trucks FMS interface data acquisition). It also has a RS232 port for NMEA output and configuration (also it could be used for peripheral devices communication with special firmware). It has option of rechargeable battery inside and special controller for power management. Also there is an option of using external backup battery. Thus it can operate for up to 48 hours in Normal (Sending via GPRS) mode with external backup battery. FM4100 can perform tasks on remote objects, such as monitoring temperature, engine status, fuel consumption, controlling truck’s door etc. In case of losing connection FM4100 can store up to 8000 records (optionally 64000 records), and once the connection is established the device will send stored data via GPRS. So you won’t lose your data (coordinates, sensors data and ect.). The aluminium case of the device is very robust and perfectly suitable for installation into harsh environment.
